President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's team continued its work in Brazil's capital on Friday, inspecting the building that will be used as headquarters by the transition team beginning the following Monday.

Worker's Party president Gleisi Hoffmann and former Chief of Staff Aloisio Mercadante visited the Cultural Center Banco do Brasil ahead of the government's transfer. In the narrowest presidential election since Brazil's return to democracy in 1985, da Silva beat Bolsonaro by about 2 million votes.
