A family-owned manufacturer in eastern Czech Republic is producing ice hockey pucks for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympic Games, working to complete and ship the order to Italy by the end of the year. The small company, based in a village in the region, employs eight people and has been manufacturing ice hockey pucks since the 1990s.

It first supplied pucks to the Olympic Games in Nagano in 1998 and has since provided pucks for International Ice Hockey Federation world championships. For the Milan-Cortina Games, the company is producing about 10,000 pucks for official competition use, including those for medal matches. An additional 10,000 pucks are being made for sale in souvenir shops.
