Cycling Trip: A Cycling Team From Italy Visits Villages In Inle Lake

A cycling team comprising four Italians from Porto Viro, Veneto region in Italy made a visit to the villages in the western part of Inle lake on Thursday.

In the evening of that day, they cycled along the ring road of Inle lake from Shwe Indein Pagoda. Via Paung Paing road branch, they passed through the road of ring bank to Nyaung Shwe and made an overnight stop at Teak Wood Hotel. 

Officials of the Tourism Police Force, the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism, the Health Department, the Sports and Physical Education Department and the cycling enthusiasts in Nyaung Shwe Township helped them along the trip.
