




Korean K-pop artistes headed Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday to participate in cultural exchange activities during the Myanmar traditional Thingyan festival.
The first batch consists of 24 artistes arrived Yangon on Tuesday evening. Among them include actor BaekEunHee, known for roles in various series and movies, as well as K-pop singers Rejen and Henny, the 7 Kids Doll Group, Astel Dance Group, and Dj-Saemi.
The Korean artistes were warmly welcomed at Yangon International Airport by officials from Myanma Radio and Television, along with Korean language students from Yangon University of Foreign Languages.
Additionally, students from the School of Fine Arts welcomed the guests with traditional Myanmar drum performances. [Soundbites] Two more groups of K-pop artistes are expected to arrive in Yangon on the 11 and 14 April, respectively. They will be performing at the Friday Night Live Show of Myanma Radio and Television on 12 April.
