

There were long lines at gas stations in Cuba on Wednesday, as authorities said an out-of-the-ordinary increase in demand for fuel, among other things, over the weekend was affecting the availability of gas on the Caribbean island.
This kind of phenomenon is not new in a country that regularly suffers shortages of food and basic products.
