Cruise ship set to evacuate Americans from Israel to Cyprus

The Rhapsody of the Seas cruise ship send by United States government is docked in the Israeli port of Haifa on Monday to evacuate its nationals.

Only US nationals and their immediate family members will be eligible for passage and will be responsible for arranging their own travel to Haifa and their own accommodations and onward travel from Cyprus, according to the announcement of US embassy. Tens of thousands of US passport holders live in Israel and 29 have been confirmed killed in the Hamas attacks on 7th October.
