The iconic cross atop the Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris has been reinstalled five years after a devastating fire. The blaze in 2019 inflicted extensive damage to the cathedral's spire and roof.

Standing at a height of 12 meters, the cross, a masterpiece of ironwork crafted by a renowned architect in the 19th century, has undergone meticulous restoration by skilled artisans and workers.

Concurrently, efforts to reconstruct the spire have been intensified, aiming to complete restoration work before the cathedral's planned reopening to the public on December 8th.
