
Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 a.m. on Friday reported one new COVID-19 case after testing 899 lab specimens as the second batch. The new confirmed patient is a returnee from India. He is a resident of Thanlyin Township of Yangon Region.
COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 261 with 6 deaths. While 165 patients have recovered from the disease, 150 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.
