Covid-19 Update: Ministry Reports No New Covid-19 Cases At 8:00 A.M. On 28th July

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday reported no new COVID-19 case after testing 372 lab specimens as the second batch. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 350 with 6 deaths till 8:00 Am on 28th July.

While 292 patients have recovered from the disease, 275 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine. Totaling 1,183 lab specimens were tested by the National Health Laboratory (NHL), Department of Medical Research (DMR), Public Health Laboratory (Mandalay), Public Health Laboratory (Mawlamyine) and 1000 bed No.1 Tatmataw Hospital (Yangon) from 27th to  the morning of 28th July.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, Brazil, India, Russian Federation, South Africa, Mexico, Peru, Chile, the United Kingdom and Islamist Republic of Iran, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 7:24 pm CEST, 27th July 2020, there have been over 16.1 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 646,641 deaths, reported to WHO.
