Covid-19 Update: Ministry Reports No New Covid-19 Cases At 8:00 A.M. On 25th June

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday reported no new COVID-19 case after testing 1220 lab specimens as the second batch. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 293 with 6 deaths. While 208 patients have recovered from the disease, 193 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, Brazil, Russian Federation, India, the United Kingdom, Peru, Chile, Spain, Italy, and Islamist Republic of Iran, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 4:44pm CEST, 24th June 2020, there have been over 9.1 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 473,797 deaths, reported to WHO.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
