COVID-19 UPDATE: MINISTRY REPORTS 320 NEW COVID-19 CASES AT 8:00 A.M. ON 22nd SEPTEMBER

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday reported 320 new COVID-19 cases after testing 2997 lab specimens as the second batch from 8 pm on 21st to 8 am on 22nd September. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 6471 with 100 deaths till 8:00 Am on 22th September.

A total of 1445 patients have been discharged from the hospitals. Totaling 5436 lab specimens were tested by the National Health Laboratory (NHL), Department of Medical Research (DMR), Public Health Laboratory (Mandalay), Public Health Laboratory (Mawlamyaing), People’s General Hospitals Tatmadaw Hospitals from 21st to the morning of 22nd September.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, South Africa, Spain and Argentina, according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 4:30 pm CEST, 21st September 2020, there have been over 30.94 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 959,116 deaths, reported to WHO.
