COVID-19 UPDATE: MINISTRY REPORTS 1,312 NEW COVID-19 CASES ON 22nd OCT.

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 1,312 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing a total of 13,774 lab specimens within 24 hours, 33 new deaths and 2,279 Patients discharged from the hospitals on 22nd October.

COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 41,008 with 1,005 deaths and 21,144 patients discharged from the hospital until 8 p.m. on 22nd October.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 8.1 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Argentina, Spain, Colombia, France, Peru and Mexico according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 2:45 pm CEST on 22nd October 2020, there have been over 41.10 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 1.12 million deaths, reported to WHO
