Covid-19 Update: Ministry Reports 1,150 New Covid-19 Cases On 18th Oct.

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 1,150 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing a total of 12,303 lab specimens within 24 hours, 42 new deaths and 706 Patients discharged from the hospitals on 18th October.

COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 36,025 with 880 deaths and 17,076 patients discharged from the hospital until 8 p.m. on 18th October. The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with almost 8 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Argentina, Colombia, Spain, Peru, Mexico, and France according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 2:43 pm CEST on 18th October 2020, there have been over 39.59 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 1.1 million deaths, reported to WHO.
