COVID-19 Update: 942 New Cases with 3 Deaths Reported On March 10

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 942 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 19,724 lab specimens within 24 hours. 3 patients have died due to the disease while 1,275 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 603,263 with 19,401 deaths and 553,891 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Argentina and Islamic Republic of Iran, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:08pm CET on 10 March, there have been over 450 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.019 million deaths.
