COVID-19 Update: 7 new COVID-19 cases reported on August 9

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 7 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Wednesday after testing 4,702 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of report, there is no patient who died due to the disease while 4 patients have recovered from the disease.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar reached 641,107 and the death toll stands at 19,494 and the number of recovered patients is 619,912.
