
The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 49 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 8,699 patients within 24 hours.
At the time of the report, 1 COVID-19 positive patient died due to the disease while 19 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 614,456 with 19,436 deaths and 593,118 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
