COVID-19 Update: 46 new COVID-19 cases reported on April 22

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 46 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 13,619 patients within 24 hours. Among the infections, 19 are the returnees from other countries and 27 are local transmission.

At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 20 patients have recovered from the disease. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar reached 634,304 and the death toll stands at 19,490 and the number of recovered patients is 614,678.
