COVID-19 Update: 4 new COVID-19 cases reported on January 11

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 4 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Wednesday after testing 4,782 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 32 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 633,730 with 19,490 deaths and 614,197 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, France, Germany, Brazil, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Italy, the United Kingdom and the Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:24 pm CET, 11 January 2023, there have been over 660 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.69 million deaths.
