COVID-19 Update: 389 new cases reported on October 8

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 389 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 13,244 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there is one patient who died due to the disease while 222 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 626,262 with 19,467 deaths and 600,110 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
