
The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.
The Ministry reported 305 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 11,825 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 263 patients have recovered from the disease. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 618,303 with 19,444 deaths and 594,984 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and the Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:35pm CEST, 16 September 2022, there have been over 608 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.5 million deaths.
