COVID-19 Update: 292 new COVID-19 cases reported on October 11

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 292 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 11,018 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 488 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 626,982 with 19,467 deaths and 601,046 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, France, Brazil, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:59pm CEST, 11 October 2022, there have been over 619 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.53 million deaths.
