COVID-19 Update: 234 new COVID-19 cases reported on September 18

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 234 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing 9,533 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there are two patients who died due to the disease while 219 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 618,898 with 19,446 deaths and 595,385 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
