COVID-19 Update: 196 new cases reported on October 9

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 196 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing 8,501 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 156 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 626,458 with 19,467 deaths and 600,266 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
