COVID-19 Update: 173 new COVID-19 cases reported on March 30

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 173 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Wednesday after testing 15,698patients within 24 hours. There were no patients who lost their lives due to the disease on March 30 while 331patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 611,448with 19,430deaths and 589,001COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russian Federation, Turkey, Italy and the Republic of Korea, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:04pm CEST, 30 March 2022, there have been over 483 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.13 million deaths.
