COVID-19 Update: 16 New COVID-19 Cases Reported on July 21

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 16new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. onThursdayafter testing 6,379 patients within 24 hours.
At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 8 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,887with 19,434deaths and 592,774COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Republic of Korea, Russian Federation and Turkey, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:12pm CEST, 21 July 2022, there have been over 564 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.37 million deaths.
