Covid-19 Update: 16 New Cases Found On 30th August At 8:00 A.M., Total Cases Reach 749

16 new cases of COVID-19 found on Sunday morning. 524 lab specimens from the National Health Laboratory (Yangon), 52 from the Department of Medical Research and 4 from the People’s Hospital in Kyauk Phyu were tested as the second batch and 16 new cases were found.

As of 8:00 a.m .on 30th August, there are 749 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar with 6 deaths and 351 recoveries.

According to the COVID-19 Dashboard of the World Health Organization as of 29th August at 3:44 p.m CEST, the United States of America was the worst-hit country by COVID-19 with over 5.8 million cases, followed by Brazil with over 3.7 million confirmed cases and India with 3.46 million cases.

The Russian Federation, Peru, South Africa, Columbia,Mexico, Spain, Chile, Argentina and Iran (Islamic Republic of) also include in the high confirmed cases. As of 3:44 p.m CEST on 29thAugust, the global numbers of COVID-19 confirmed cases have reached over 24.58 million with 833,556 deaths, according to the report of WHO.
