COVID-19 Update: 157 new COVID-19 cases reported on May 12

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 157 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 10,524 patients within 24 hours. At the time of report, there is no patient died due to the disease while 90 patients have recovered from the disease. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar reached 636,967 and the death toll stands at 19,493 and the number of recovered patients is 615,720.
