COVID-19 Update: 11 New COVID-19 Cases Reported On May 24

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 11 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 6,553 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 32 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,238 with 19,434 deaths and 592,221 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals. The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Italy and Turkey, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:43pm CEST, 24 May 2022, there have been over 523 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.27 million deaths.
