Covid-19 Update: 10 New Cases Found On Friday, Total Numbers Reached 409

10 new cases of COVID-19 were found on 21st August according to the lab results of the National Health Laboratory (Yangon). A total of 811 lab specimens were tested as the second batch and 10 of them from Sittwe and Mrauk-U of Rakhine State have tested positive.

As of 8:00 am on 21st August, there are a total of 409 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar with 6 deaths and 333 recoveries. In the world nations, the United States of America has found the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 with more than 5.4 million followed by Brazil, India, Russian Federation, South Africa, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Spain. As of 3:16 pm CEST on 20th August, over 22 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 782,456 deaths, reported to the World Health Organization.
