Covid-19 Report: Ministry Reports 92 New Covid-19 Cases At 8 A.M. On Sept. 8

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 a.m. on Tuesday reported 92 new COVID-19 cases after testing 1,527 lab specimens. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 1,610 with 8 deaths. While 388 patients have recovered from the disease, 369 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Peru, Colombia, South Africa, Mexico, Spain and Argentina, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 4:24pm CEST, 7 September 2020, there have been over 27.03 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 881,000 deaths, reported to WHO.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
