COVID-19 REPORT: MINISTRY REPORTS 598 NEW COVID-19 CASES AT 8 P.M. ON SEPT. 25

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 598 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday, according to the lab results of the National Health laboratory (Yangon), the Department of Medical Research, the Public Health Laboratories in Mandalay, Mawlamyaing and Taunggyi, 1000-bed Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital, People’s Hospital of Pyay, Hpa-An, Kengtung, Myaungmya, Muse, Pyin Oo Lwin, Tachileik, Tedim, Myikyina, Sittwe, Kyaukphyu, Magwe, Kalay, Dawei, Myawady, Myeik, No.1 1000-bed Defence Services Hospital (Yangon), No.2 1000-bed Defence Services Hospital (Nay Pyi Taw) and No.17 100-bed Defence Services Hospital (Sittwe).

A total of 3,360 lab specimens from were tested and 598 new cases were found. COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar reached 9,112 with 174 deaths at 8 p.m. on the 25th of September.

Among the old confirmed cases, a total of 2,517 patients have been discharged from the hospital.
