Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 a.m. on Friday reported 256 new COVID-19 cases after testing 3,554 lab specimens. The tests were conducted in laboratories and general hospitals. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 4,299 with 61 deaths at 8 a.m. on the 18th of September.
The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, South Africa, Spain and Argentina, according to the World Health Organization.
Globally, as of 3:35pm CEST, 17 September 2020, there have been over 29.73 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 937,000 deaths, reported to WHO. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
