COVID-19 REPORT: MINISTRY REPORTS 1,306 NEW COVID-19 CASES ON 20th OCT.

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 1,306 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing a total of 15,329 lab specimens within 24 hours, 31 new deaths and 579 Patients discharged from the hospitals on 20th October. COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 38,502 with 945 deaths and 18,147 patients discharged from the hospital until 8 p.m. on 20th October.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 8 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Argentina, Colombia, Spain, France, Peru and Mexico according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 3:05 pm CEST on 20th October 2020, there have been over 40.25 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 1.11 million deaths, reported to WHO.
