COVID-19 REPORT: MINISTRY REPORTS 1,294 NEW COVID-19 CASES AT 8 P.M. ON OCT. 4

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 p.m. on Sunday reported 1,294 new COVID-19 cases after testing 8,107 lab specimens. 41 COVID-19 patients lost their lives due to the disease while 400 patients have been discharged from hospitals.
COVID-19 cases in Myanmar had reached 17,794 with 412 deaths at 8 p.m. on the 4th of October, and 5,195 COVID-19 patients have been discharged so far.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Colombia, Peru, Spain, Argentina, Mexico and South Africa, according to the World Health Organization.
Globally, as of 3:38pm CEST, 4 October 2020, there have been over 34.8 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 1 million deaths, reported to WHO. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
