COVID-19 REPORT: MINISTRY REPORTS 1,202 NEW COVID-19 CASES AT 8 P.M. ON NOV. 2

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 p.m. on Monday reported 1,202 new COVID-19 cases after testing 12,226 lab specimens. 24 COVID-19 patients lost their lives due to the disease while 1,435 patients have been discharged from hospitals. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar had reached 54,607 with 1,282 deaths at 8 p.m. on the 2nd of November, and 37,954 COVID-19 patients have been discharged so far.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, India, Brazil, Russian Federation, France, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, the United Kingdom and Mexico, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 3:46pm CET, 2 November 2020, there have been over 46 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 1.19 million deaths, reported to WHO.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.

Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
