Covid-19 Report: Ministry Reports 115 New Covid-19 Cases At 8 A.M. On Sept. 11

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 a.m. on Friday reported 115 new COVID-19 cases after testing 1,370 lab specimens. The tests were conducted in 2 laboratories and 13 general hospitals. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 2,265 with 14 deaths.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, South Africa, Spain and Argentina, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 4:05pm CEST, 10 September 2020, there have been over 27.73 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 899,000 deaths, reported to WHO.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
