Covid-19 Report: 448 New Cases With 13 Deaths At 8 P.M. On Jan. 19

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 448 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing a total of 20,694 lab specimens within 24 hours, 13 new deaths and 457 patients discharged from the hospitals on 19th January.

COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 135,243 with 2,985 deaths and 118,657 patients discharged from the hospital until 8 p.m. on 19th January.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, India, Brazil, Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Germany and Colombia, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:44pm CET, 19 January 2021, there have been over 94.12 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 2.03 million deaths, reported to WHO.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
