


The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 232 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 10,215 patients within 24 hours.
At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 292 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 626,690 with 19,467 deaths and 600,558 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, France, Brazil, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 7:26pm CEST, 10 October 2022, there have been over 618 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.53 million deaths.
