COVID-19 Report: 1,321 New COVID-19 Cases at 8 p.m. on Dec. 10

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 p.m. on Thursday reported 1,321 new COVID-19 cases after testing 22,241 lab specimens.

27 COVID-19 patients lost their lives due to the disease while 1,098 patients have been discharged from hospitals. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar had reached 104,487 with 2,201 deaths at 8 p.m. on the 10th of December, and 82,813 COVID-19 patients have been discharged so far.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.

Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
