COVID-19 RECOVERY CASES: 5 MORE PATIENTS DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL IN SITTWE

Authorities and medical professionals have been making efforts for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment. In Sittwe of Rakhine State, 5 more patients have recovered from the disease and they have been discharged from the hospital on Monday.

The recovered ones have been put under a 7-day home quarantine. From the 5th September to the 19th October, a total of 1,073 patients have been discharged from the hospital in Sittwe.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.

Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
