COVID-19 RECOVERY CASES: 33 MORE PATIENTS DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL IN SITTWE

Authorities and medical professionals have been making efforts for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment.

In Sittwe of Rakhine State, 33 more patients have recovered from the disease and been discharged from hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

The recovered ones have been put under a 7-day home quarantine.

From the 5th of September to the 14th of October, the number of COVID-19 patients who have recovered from the disease and were discharged from hospitals in Sittwe is 1,040.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.

Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
