COVID-19 Prevention: Trucks Coming From Yangon Are Not Allowed To Enter Downtown Magway

The trucks coming from Yangon will not be allowed to enter downtown Magway and it has arranged for loading and unloading the goods at the temporary bus-stop station that is opened at Ma Gyi Kan village High School (Branch) in Magway, according to Magway Region Private Bus Lines Supervisory Committee.

The running of bus lines outside Magway Region has been suspended as of 14th September and arrangements have been made for temporary bus-stop station in order not to halt commodity flow and to prevent from the spread of the disease. Thetemporary bus-stop station has been opened starting 12th September evening.

There are around 40 trucks coming into Magway up to 14th September morning. The drivers from Yangon region are put at the separate hostel. They are not allowed to enter downtown, according to the Chairman of Magway Region Private Bus Lines Supervisory Committee.

The local drivers and their followers will be put under 14-day quarantine and then they are allowed to enter the downtown.

The local bus lines in the Region are not restricted and it is making supervision to run them in line with COVID-19 rules and regulations, according to the Private Bus Lines Supervisory Committee.
