COVID-19 PREVENTION: PROTECTIVE ITEMS DONATED TO NATMAUK PEOPLE'S HOSPITAL

As the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases is on the increase across the country, health workers together with well-wishers and volunteers are working their best to fight against the disease.

On 28th September, the well-wishers donated COVID-19 disease protective items to the Township People's Hospital.

Head, Department of Medical Services (Natmauk Township), Dr. Win Si Thu said "Today, it’s a donation of necessary things including surgical masks to fight against the disease from the residents of Nat Mauk Township. It will be benefit in treatment processes for the patients and I would like to say words of thank to the donors."

The donation was made by the residents in Nat Mauk Township together with Nat Mauk Network Social Organization.

Vice-Chairman, Natmauk Network Social Organization, Kyaw San Lwin said "Today donation is the collaboration of the residents in the township. We have more plans to donate the protective items to the township medical team for the prevention measure of the disease."

The donation includes oxygen tanks, surgical masks, gloves, apron, PPEs and other protective items worth about 497,000 kyats, according to the Information and Public Relations Department.
