COVID-19 Containment: COVID-19 Treatment Centre (Ayeyawadycentre) Constructed In Mandalay

COVID-19 Treatment Centre (Chan Myathazi Township) Ayeyawady Centre is being constructed as of 26th October with the contribution of Ayeyawady Foundation to provide health care services for COVID-19 patients at Mandala Thiri Sports Stadium and to support COVID-19 control and treatment measures in Mandalay region.

Three wards that can house to 100 confirmed patients each will be constructed in the centre and it is planned to install 300 beds; 200 beds for the patients with no serious condition and 100 beds for emergency patients.

The Test and Care Centre will be placed to test whether COVID-19 is infected or not. It is planned to construct the wards within 10 days.
