Covid-19 Cases: 60 More Patients Discharged From Hospitals In Rakhine

Authorities and medical professionals have been making efforts for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment. In Rakhine State, the number of patients discharged from hospitals is increasing. In Sittwe, 18 more patients were discharged from hospital on the 10th of September.

Also, on the same day, 42 more patients were discharged from hospitals in Maungtaw, Kyaukphyu and Ponnakyun townships.

The discharged persons have been put under a 7-day home quarantine. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
