Court Verdict : Ottarathiri District Court ordered death sentence

Ottarathiri District Court ordered verdicts for the suspects involved in a case of murder to a family at Zawana Theikdi ward in Ottarathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on October 10th.

Among six suspects, four have been ordered to death sentences while the remaining were ordered to serve prison terms of 7 years, 3 years and 6 months respectively under sections 394/109, 201,202 and 302(1)(B).

During the incidents, three family members were murdered with the report of three mobile phones and a vehicle missing. Payagone Myo Ma Police Station filed a lawsuit against 4 adult suspects while a child suspect was reported to the Township Court.
