Court Annual Report 2023: Court Annual Report 2023 published

The Court Annual Report 2023 (both English and Myanmar Versions) was published by the Supreme Court of the Union on 10 April 2024.

The Report is also uploaded and accessible on the website of the Supreme Court of the Union www.unionsupremecourt.gov.mm. Court Annual Report has been issued annually since 2016 to enlighten the performance of the Supreme Court of the Union and the Courts at different levels.

The objectives of issuing the Court Annual Report are to be transparent and accountable the process of the judiciary; to have a realistic assessment on the activities of the Court; to have a better performance of the Court and to raise public awareness about the judicial reform processes.

The Court Annual Report 2023 is arranged with four chapters: Overview of the Court System and Administration; Significant Performances of the Supreme Court of the Union in 2023; Judicial Performances; Implementation of Year One Strategic Action Plan (2023) and Actions to be Implemented in Year Two Action Plan (2024) including the appendices and highlights so as to be easily comprehensible not only by the legal practitioners, court users but also by the public.
