Countdown to the Glittering Night: Preparations underway for 2023 Academy Awards

Preparations are in full swing for the upcoming Motion Picture Academy Awards Presentation Ceremony in 2023 at the Myanmar International Convention Center – 1 in Nay Pyi Taw. The grand red carpet, photo booth locations, and interview booths are currently being installed to welcome attendees and facilitate interviews and photography activities during the ceremony. Along the red carpet, documentary photos of lifetime film award winners and academy award winners from 1952 to 2022 will be displayed, creating a nostalgic journey through the years.

With a total of 12 nominated films for the 2023 Motion Picture Academy Awards, the ceremony will feature 11 excellence arts and excellence professional awards, including the Best Film Award. Additionally, fashion awards will also be presented. The entire ceremony will be broadcast live on popular channels such as MRTV HD, MWD, MNTV, Channel 9 Myanmar Movies, Myanmar Arts, Channel 7, Reader’s Channel, M Channel, 5 Plus, Channel K, Fortune TV, MRTV Radio, and 6 FM Radio channels.

A total of 11 cameras, including AR cameras, Crane cameras, and PTZ cameras, will be utilized for the live broadcast, ensuring a captivating and immersive experience for viewers across the country. Public can enjoy the glamorous celebration starting 6:00 pm on 3rd February.
