Corns exports: plan to export corns to Bangladesh market

Starting from February this year, Myanmar has been exported more than 100,000 tons of corn through border gates to the foreign markets, according to an official of Myanmar Corn Industrial Association.

In Myanmar, corns are mostly cultivated in Ayeyarwady Region between March and May of the year. At present, Myanmar has planned to exports the Ayeyarwady corns to Bangladesh market.

There is also high demand for corns from ASEAN region countries and the prices may change depending on the rate of exchange currencies of the countries.
