Copenhagen is once again aglow as the city's annual Light Festival kicks off, showcasing 50 stunning art light installations spread across its streets, squares, and even a cemetery. The festival, which runs for three weeks, has transformed the Danish capital into a luminous canvas, offering an immersive experience for locals and visitors alike.

Ole Asbjorn Riis, resident Baunehoj said  "A cemetery is normally a place of death, which is not necessarily a sad place. It can be a happy place. And the light that comes here is maybe... Maybe people will feel enlightened by the light that is here."

One of the standout pieces this year is Aura, an interactive installation that allows visitors to translate their emotions into colors. The festival is a celebration of both art and the power of light to inspire and transform everyday spaces into vibrant works of creativity. The festival continues through the month, inviting everyone to see the city in a new light.
